Author's note: So, here it is, chapter six. Sorry it's so short, and I apologize for any errors I maybe made. Don't forget to join the Facebook Fan Page! One more thing: I would like to dedicade this chapter to marijuly12 because she's awesome and always here when I feel bad. Thanks, Mary. Also, she has a story that I love. She wrote two chapters so far - chapter one, chapter two - but they are pretty long so yeah. Be warned, though, that her story contains adult content and language. But I still say it's awesome and a must-read. ;)
3 weeks later...
„Blair?“ Mia called. „Blair, sweetie, where are you?“
It was 7:30 A.M. and Mia had to be at work in an hour. Catherine was still asleep, and Mia, not wanting to wake her up, decided she will make breakfast. She thought it would be a nice surprise, meaning 'thank you.' Mia knew how much did Catherine work and sacrifice in order to help her and Blair out. This was the least she could have done. She had just finished making the last pancake, when Catherine appeared on the doors of her bedroom, smiled and yawned, „Hey.“
Mia laughed, „Nice hairstyle. Where did you get it?“
Catherine's hair was all messy, and stood up in the air a bit. Catherine let out a small giggle, and then ran her hand through her hair, making it even worse. She slowly moved to the dinning table, and yawned for the second time whilst sitting down, „What time is it?“
„7:33,“ Mia replied. „Want some pancakes?“
Catherine looked at her like she was crazy, „I'm sorry, I must have lost my hearing, because it seemed as if you said that sentence in a question like way.“
Mia smiled and handed her a plate, „Here.“
„Thank you,“ Catherine winked and dug into food. It took her a second to realize Blair was nowhere to be seen. She mumbled with her mouth full, making it almost impossible to understand, „Where's Blair?“
„She's probably still sleeping. I'll go wake her up now,“ Mia said, and started her way to Blair's bedroom. She gently knocked against the pale wooden door and called, „Blair, sweetie, there are pancakes in the living room. Wake up, and come eat.“ After she finished her announcement, she waited for a minute before looking to Catherine, who was now looking at what was happening with her eyes widen, completely forgetting about the food. They exchanged a frightened look. Mia knocked one more time, but as there was no response, she opened the door. Blair was not in there. Now both Catherine and Mia started panicking, yelling Blair's name every 5 seconds, rapidly moving around the house and scanning the space. She was not in the bathroom, or the bedrooms. After 5 minutes of pointless searching, a lonely tear rolled down Mia's cheek as she stopped in the middle of the living room, shocked.. Catherine hugged her, carefully soothing her hair. „Shhh, don't cry, I'm sure she's around here.“ Unfortunately, Mia was one of those people who started to sob after being hugged, and this time was no difference. She cried in Catherine's shoulder, whispering the words, „Where's my daughter, Catherine?“ over and over again. Just as Catherine was about broke down herself, the door opened, and Blair happily skipped into the room. As Mia noticed her, she ran to her, picking her up in a huge bear hug. „Oh, Blair!“ She exclaimed, kissing her hair. Catherine smiled, and gently took Blair from Mia's arms, putting her down.
Blair looked at her mother worried, and asked, „Cathy, why is Mommy sad?“
„Well, we thought you were gone missing. Where were you, anyways?“
Blair looked at her feet, ashamed, „I'm sorry, Mommy. I just wanted to give you some flowers to cheer you up, you're sad all the time.“ She said, handing Mia a bouquet of flowers from their garden.
„Oh, sweetie,“ Mia said, a tear rolling down her cheeks. She smiled as she knelled down and hugged Blair. „Thank you.“
Catherine smiled at the lovely sight, but couldn't help wondering what would Mia and she do if anything were to happen to Blair. Oh, everybody is okay now and they are all safe... right?

I feel sorry for Mia though :( She's always worrying about her Blair... No wonder!
Great Chapter :D
Blair is such a sweet kid and I would've been just like Mia if I couldn't find her.
This was such a cute chapter!! I loved it!!
Ya, I know, I've already read it, I keep up with your legacy, sorry I don't comment, but I think it's amazing (the chapter and the whole legacy, in general) and I'm always delighted when I see a new chapter.
I'm sorry if I took too long to read this. After reading the dedication I was ashamed I hadn't been your first comment like always. Sorry...
Second: How dare you make me worry like that? I really thought something real bad had happened to Blair! Mia would have gone insane if she had gone missing!!!! I would have gone insane too!!!!
Even if it was short, it was a great chapter. Short, Simple, but Filled with heart-racing moments...
Oh. and I'm having pancakes for lunch today... Just because now I have cravings.
I hope you are feeling shinier than the sun and greener than the grass.
Haha, yeah, thanks. ;)
Rofl, I actually had pancakes the day I wrote that for lunch, they are awesome. :D
I'm holding in there, it sucks but hey, I'm still alive. :)
Well, anyway, onto the chapter. You made me worry then, I honestly thought Blair had been kidnapped or something! Its cute though, how she only went to get flowers for her mom, so sweet. :) Gotta say, I kinda love that last line (I don't know why, but I like lines like that that build suspense for future events :D).
Well, great chapter as always, short or not!
Yeah, haha, I love that kind of last lines too, it just makes everything so tense and leaves the reader in suspense. :D
Thanks. :)
